IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR GUARD MIST USERS

Due to a recent re-evaluation of pyrethrins made by Health Canada’s Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) a decision has been made and the the following products are being discontinued:

GUARD MIST INSECTICIDE
  Registration (PCP)# 18348

GUARD MIST 1 PYRETHRINS INSECTICIDE
  Registration (PCP)# 19685

These products will continue to be authorized for a 36-month phase-out period. This permits the users to continue to possess, handle, store, distribute or use the products in order to deplete existing stocks in Canada, subject to the following conditions that are necessary for carrying out the purposes of the PCPA.

Last date of sale by registrant:
March 2, 2024

Last date of sale by retailers/distributors:
March 2, 2025

End users may use up existing stock until the last date of use which falls on March 2, 2026.
